Full disclosure, l was born in Colorado and am a Broncos fan. I just get to talk about it a little more since we have our first real QB since… Peyton Manning.
The Broncos acquired star quarterback Russel Wilson via trade, and he makes his Bronco debut tonight against the very team that he was traded from and as many believe had a toxic relationship with as played for many years. The love triangle between Ownership, Coaches and Wilson became more intense.
In a recent interview, Russell Wilson responds to a question confirming that the Seahawks Organization had been attempting to to trade him for years. Wilson squares up against his old team tonight, the Seattle Seahawks tonight on Monday Night Football, in Seattle.
On the Seattle side of things you’ll find QB Geno Smith behind center and lined up as the starting Tight End is Noah Fant (came over from Denver is the Wilson trade ). I personally wasn’t thrilled losing Noah but it was a small price to pay to lock down Russell Wilson for a few years.
I’m sure Seattle’s Noah Fant will be looking for some get back as well and if you’re looking for a fantasy sleeper in Daily or a high upside play with, I see a lot of Dump offs to Fant fron Geno Smith as the Broncos defense brings the pressure.
Fantasy must starts tonight:
QB: Russell Wilson
RB: either of the Denver RB’s. Williams is supposed to get the heavier load this year but based on last years stats it was a 50/50 split with Gordon ending out the rookie RB in the touchdown category. In daily the value is with Melvin Gordon. Due to game flow I would stay away from Seattle RB’s but if you’re asking me for one to recommend it’s R.Penny and it’s not even close
WR: Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy
TE: Noah Fant (sleeper)

From a wagering perspective, the Broncos are anywhere from -7 to -6 depending on you’re site, app etc.

I have the Broncos covering easily but it the line is 7 thenI’m buying the hook (half a point).
